Question by bonshui: What would happen to the water cycle if hydrogen-powered vehicles became ‘normal’?
Hydrogen powered vehicles might be fuelled by hydrogen derived from water (H20). The remaining oxygen would be a clean’ exhaust fume.
However, there is only a finite amount of water in the world – it is never created or lost, but exists in varying amounts of liquid, vapour and ice. If we started fuelling our vehicles with water, what would happen in the long term?

Nothing. The amount of water that all the gas tanks in the world could hold is minute compared to the amount of water in the world.
Oh, and as much water is produced as is consumed in such a system.

He also commented that stainless steel ( 410 not 403 ) was the only metal that could be used as oxides formed with all others. His original chamber used 18 inch long by 0.375 inch diameter (od) rod surrounded by 1 inch diameter (id) 16 inch long pipe. The reason for the difference in length is for mechanical ease of construction. My prototype used 14 inch long rod and 12 inch long pipe of similar diameters as the drawing indicates. Having a severe lack of parts diversity here in Sri-Lanka, I was only able to obtain a 24 volt. 8 amp transformer and built my circuitry around that. The final output is 20 volts with Ml reading 10 amps to the pulsing circuit which generates a symetricel squarewave ( 50% duty cycle ) to the flyback inductor connected in series with the chamber as the schematic shows. The flyback high voltage spike is directed across the chamber via c* end d*. The use of a high voltage spike alone, without the current being delivered through the liquid, will not cause the disassociation to take place. This I verified using an ignition coil in place of the inductor and applied the secondary with halfwave rectification and blocking capacitor to prevent burn out to the chamber with no results. Question by leslieguelker0517: above ground pool — how to kill all stuff growing without draining the water or fuming out the neighborhood?
I just bought a house and the above ground pool is a thriving swamp for toads, frogs, bugs I can’t even begin to describ, and I am sure mosquitos.
The neighbors have said in the past draining the pool flood out the couldesac. So that is out.
Covering the pool will only trap them in, until they find another way to escape.
One person did tell me to put oil in the pool and it would create a layer on top of the water & kill everything in the deep murky waters. I don’t know that I am entirely comfortable with that and don’t know what kind of oil to even use.
Ok I did call a pool service company and they want to come out & charge me for even looking at the problem — and then in the same breathe stated that was not exactly there area of expertise.
As the days get nicer, the problem increases and I need to take care of this immediately, please help.

First get rid of the junk. Get a mesh net and scoop up everything and throw it away. That is the first task. Once you get rid of everything you can start to treat it. You pretty much have to drain it after that because the water is definetly contaminated with bacteria and microorganisms. You don’t have to flood the cul-de-sac if you let it out more slowly. Drain it completely, get a big brush and scrub with a clorox and water. Rinse it and enjoy your pool!

With The B.P spill the call for a ban on oil drilling was put in place by the President. It was clearly a man error that caused the spill, Now that the oil company and those who were in charge are being held accountable, You can bet all Oil Companies are taking every available safety procedures to protect this from ever happening again and the ban should have ben lifted
Obama is said to have lifted the ban on deep water drilling, However the process is taking long enough that many oil rigs are leaving the gulf to drill in other countries that will be selling oil to the U.S. Once these rigs leave, these jobs are gone overseas. Today even tough the ban is lifted, there has not been a single permit to drill for oil in the gulf of mexico U.S.waters.
In President Obama’S state of the nation Speech he never once said a word about the Oil industry, The oil spill or anything related to it.
Our American Oil Workers are being sent to the UNEMPLOYMENT line while the President is letting our jobs be like our oil,” IMPORTED”.
Why is saving our JOBS, and drilling AMERICAN MADE OIL not a top priority to the President?

I been in the Louisiana Oil fields Moving Drilling Rigs as a Tug Boat Captain for 25 years. Even Inland and shallow water drilling is shut down while oil and gasoline prices soar our Oil Industy work boats, and oil rigs are being stacked with prices rising. It doesn’t make sense. Our jobs are being sent and done overseas.

The faster we import all the oil from the Middle East the faster the day will come when the terroist will have no money. Lets use up the oil now so the world doesnt have to concern itself with the Middle East.

Back encapsulation is the best option in my opinion. The advantage is, no need for expensive silicone encapsulants. The back encapsulation prevents much of the resin from UV exposure. These are dew safe water tight 100% The humidity is as bad as it can get where we live. If they do not get wet here, they are safe anywhere. Buster was about 3 years old when he wandered in the veterinarian’s office in early 1995 while our dog Sweetie was getting her yearly shots. We took him home:-) 16 great years. Simple as it gets. Nuclear power plants give off max heat, and I mean M-A-X heat. Without water to cool them down they could either explode or melt down, given the right combo of situations. So, they’re placed near a constant source of water. Prob is, over a long-enough time the warmer water from the plant can actually raise the water’s temperature. This is a long-used argument against such plants by anti-nuke groups, by the way.

Question by Mr Macroni: How to convert steam back to water quickly?
I am working on a green source energy project.A solar powered steam generator.I need some idea for how to cool the steam back to water quickly? and turn the water back to the steamer again.That way i don’t have to refill the steamer with water all the time.Any idea?
Somebody is not getting it.Here is how.

the stuff they put in refrigerators and freezers, i don’t think its freon anymore but whatever it is haha, and to turn it back, just hook up a pipe from the steam end through the freon and back to the water end.
