The energysources are shrinking and shrinking. In a few years we are going to have a real energyproblem. A lot of people are investigating for clean and/or alternative energysources.
Do you think the usage of hydrogen is a good step to a cleaner and powerfull future?
I’m doing an economics project about how hybrid, electric, and hydrogen powered vehicles effects the economy. I need to have 4 book or magazine sources and am having a really hard time finding anything in books or magazines for my topic.
In my understanding Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and the Middle East countries ‘s economy relies heavily on the oil production. These contries use oil to import Fruits& Vegetables along with importing ice glaciers for fresh water.
As the rest of the world slowly using alternative fuel such as Hybrid Vehicles, Natural Gas Vehicles, E85 Fuel, and soon within 10 years we will have better electric vehicles and Hydrogen Fuel Cell vehiles. I know that the top goverment officials aren’t going to be affected by this because they are already rich and can continue to invest. My question is what about the people of those regions where their livelihoods depends on oil export cause they dont have a whole lot of other resources in those regions. Is this mean a World War someday for survial as the the middle east will no long be a vital role in the world economy ?

I want to know if there is a Hydrogen based bolt on system or component that I add to my inline 6 in my Jeep? Hydrogen technology has been around but before it goes mainstream, I am sure most modern engines can be equipped with a system that is partially fueled by hydrogen thus a less dependence on fossil fuels and increased MPG. It will be 50 years before hydrogen engines/fuel becomes mainstream so until then or until I die, I would like to see if I can modify my current gasoline engine and combine it with a possible bolt on system.
Ok so here’s the deal… I’m trying to come up with a business plan for a class for a company that would be able to increase MPG in existing, used, on the road, cars…
My first idea is to try and find a method of converting a gasoline powered car to a hybrid electric/gasoline… Would it be any where near cost effective? How long before we’d have the technology to do so?
How about ways of converting cars to run on electric power or interchangeable battery packs or things like that? I know its possible, but would any normal not-environmentally concerned person ever do it?
I want to come up with an amazing business plan that will blow people’s minds… I think a hybrid conversion would be amazing but is there any chance I could make it happen? Even if it is not yet entirely cost effective, is it feasible? Would it be helped with economies of scale i.e. the more conversions are done the cheaper they become?
Well, it sure looks like the King of the Wahabi’s took a giant you-know-what on our fearless leader’s head by denying him a break on stiff oil prices-He says He’s afraid that we will develop energy alternatives.Alright,but doesn’t it look like the King has us by the short hairs yet again and He’s relishing the moment-I know I would if I were him and Bush was arrogantly strutting around the middle east like a drunken giant who’s just been slapped in the nuts.China needs Middle east oil almost as much as we do and they have the ability to control their low-paid,labor force because these hundreds of millions of workers are not part of the political process. The emmensly powerfull leaders in both nations could easilly form a sort of cartel to devalue our dollar to even greater lows,buy up our defense industries,large chunks of our most creative and productive industries- Global Economy..Our debts cannot continue to accumulate indefinately–”I’d rather owe it to you than cheat you out of it

Chinese products have become so ubiquitous that one cannot avoid buying some.Our vehicals still use too much of the wrong fuel.I think China and Walmart have also used undue influence in our buying habits.
