I can’t get rid of dry skin from an allergic reaction?

Question by ~: I can’t get rid of dry skin from an allergic reaction?
My skin is really dry and rough like sand paper (on my face) and I can’t tell if the allergic reaction killed my top layer of skin or it is just seriously dry. Should I moistrorize or exfoliate and then moisturize. Regular lotion is not really working and putting anything on my face hurts.

Mix brown sugar and olive oil and very gently massage this on your face. It will exfoliate and moisturize at the same time. Don’t worry, it won’t make you break out, it’s actually really good for your skin. Afterwards, just rinse off. Don’t use cleansers or anything else for a couple days
